During February 27^th to March 1^st, Secretary-General of the Wushu Federation of Asia Mr. Chan Weng Kit, Technical Committee Chairperson of the Wushu Federation of Asia Ms. Zhang Yuping, Technical Committee Member of the International Wushu Federation Mr. Jin Xiaobing and a staff member from Wushu Federation of Asia, a group of four travelled together to conduct site inspection and to discuss with the Organizing Committee the work preparatory for the upcoming 9^th Asian Junior Wushu Championships, which is to be held in Gumi City, Korea from September 14^th to 21^st, 2017.

Wushu Federation of Asia and its entourage received warm welcome from Korea Wushu Association and Gumi City officials, hoping that through this inspection to make the event preparation work more smoothly and satisfactorily.

Gumi City is an important industrial city in Korea; with major high-tech industrial companies such as LG and Samsung. Furthermore, Gumi City is the hometown of former President Park Chung-hee. The competition venue is named after Park Chung-hee and was completed in 2001, organized numerous international events with well-equipped security, medical, transportation and other supporting facilities.

On the morning of February 28^th, the Korean Wushu Association first reported current work preparatory, follow by the advice from Secretary-General and Technical Committee Chairperson of the Wushu Federation of Asia in regards to the competition schedule and details on reception.

After the meeting, the group arrived to the competition venue at the Park Chung-Hee Gymnasium for site inspection, understanding related arrangement by the organizing committee. Follow by site inspection at the guest and team’s accommodation, banquet and meeting arrangement.

Both parties exchanged memento during farewell.

Secretary-General of the Wushu Federation of Asia, Mr. Chan Weng Kit and Mr. Cho Sugill, Secretary General the organizing committee and Director of the Korean Wushu Association, signed the contract for the conduct of the forthcoming 9^th Asian Junior Wushu Championships and wishes the championships to be a great success.
