The 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championships Opening Ceremony was held in the morning of the August 19 in the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, inviting Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin as the guest of honor.

The opening ceremony was started having all participating teams and referee teams lined up. 

Dr. Md Firdaus Abdul Rahman, Chairman of the 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championships Organizing Committee, mentioned in particular that this is the first time that Sanda competition was held in Brunei Darussalam.

Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin announced the official launch of the 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championships, followed by traditional performances by local schools and wushu performances.

President of the WFA Mr. Fok Chun Wan, as the Commissioner of oath of athletes and judges, ensure fair play and equitable of the competition.

The first unit competition was held immediately after the opening ceremony.
