The 1^st Asian Traditional Wushu (Kung-Fu) Championships hosted by Wushu Federation of Asia, Chinese Wushu Association and Jiangsu Provincial Sport Bureau; organized by Nanjing Municipal Sports Bureau, Jiangsu Z’sin Culture Communication and Nanjing Agricultural University was held during November 28^th to 30^th, 2018 in Nanjing Agricultural University.

Mr. Fok Chun Wan (President of Wushu Federation of Asia), Ms. Chen Xingyu (Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province), Mr. Zhang Qiuping (President of the Chinese Wushu Association), Mr. Chen Gang (Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau), and distinguished guests were attended the opening ceremony.

There were total of 120 athletes from 12 Asian countries and regions, including Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, China, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei.

The championships feature traditional wushu, dual and group events, with a total of 39 events, produced their respective champions.
