The Wushu competition at the 20th Asian Games will officially kick off on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Day one will feature thrilling contests across both the Taolu and Sanda disciplines, with two gold medals up for grabs—a day full of excitement awaits.
The Taolu events are divided into a morning session and an afternoon session in day one, each awarding one gold medal. The morning session begins at 9:00 a.m. Japan time, opening with the Men's Changquan final, immediately followed by the Women's Taijiquan competition. Right after the events, the medal ceremony for the Men's Changquan will be held. The afternoon session starts at 14:30 with the Women's Taijijian competition; the final standings for the Women's Taijiquan&Taijijian All-Around event will be determined by combining results from both the morning and afternoon events. Following the competition, the medal ceremony for the Women's Taijiquan&Taijijian All-Around will be held.
