Sham Hui Yu Lydia, considered a prime medal hope for the Hong Kong Wushu team at these Asian Games, is competing in her third Asian Games. She has previously achieved strong results in the World Wushu Championships, the World Games, and the Asian Wushu Championships.

Representing Macao, China, Sou Cho Man took the silver medal with a score of 9.710 pts, successfully adding another silver medal to Macao's tally. Sou has represented Macao in various world-class wushu competitions over the years, winning silver in Women's Changquan at the World Combat Games and finishing 5th in the same event at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

The bronze medal went to Indonesian athlete Widodo Eugenia Diva with a score of 9.706 pts. The 23-year-old Widodo is a key athlete for Indonesia's wushu taolu team; she previously won gold in Gunshu (staff) and silver in Daoshu (broadsword) at the 2024 World Taolu Cup, and earned a silver medal representing Indonesia at major multi-sport events like the Southeast Asian Games.

The Men's Taijiquan & Taijijian All-Round event was held today. The Men's Taijiquan discipline concluded this morning at 9:53 AM JST, and the first-session results have been announced. Chinese athlete Liu Dewen delivered a steady performance to score 9.780 points, temporarily holding the top spot. Chinese Taipei athlete Sun Chia-hung also put on an impressive performance, scoring a total of 9.733 points to hold second place. Singapore's Jowen Lim (Zheng Yuxuan) and South Korea's An Hyeon-gi both scored 9.713 points, sitting in third and fourth place, respectively. The Men's Taijijian discipline will take place this afternoon at 14:30.
