The Wushu competition concluded its Men's Taijiquan & Taijijian All-Round event today. The second segment, the Taijijian event, commenced at 14:30 Japan Time in the afternoon, with the final total scores and rankings determined by combining the scores from both events.

Gold: Liu Dewen (CHN) – 19.560 pts

Silver: Sun Chia-hung (TPE) – 19.453 pts

Bronze: An Hyeon-gi (KOR) – 19.429 pts

China's LIU Dewen delivered a light, fluid, graceful, and elegant performance throughout the competition. He topped the standings in the morning's Taijiquan event with a score of 9.780, followed by another solid execution in the afternoon's Taijijian event, securing the gold medal with a combined total of 19.560 points. Liu has earned multiple accolades across national wushu taolu championships and various international wushu tournaments.

Representing Chinese Taipei, SUN Chia-Hung delivered an impressive performance. Following his second-place finish in the morning Taijiquan event with 9.733 points, he performed his afternoon Taijijian routine to an adapted accompaniment of "Call of Silence" from the Japanese anime Attack on Titan, taking home the silver medal with a total score of 19.453 points. As the Men's Taijijian gold medalist and Taijiquan silver medalist at the Chengdu World University Games, Sun once again proved his extensive tournament experience and reliability on the international stage.

South Korea's AN Hyeon-gi claimed the bronze medal with a combined score of 19.429 points thanks to balanced performances in both events. Active on the international stage in recent years, An has represented South Korea at the World Wushu Championships, World Combat Games, and Asian Wushu Championships. He earned a bronze medal in Men's Taijiquan at the 10th Asian Wushu Championships in 2024 and was nominated for the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) 2023 Athlete of the Year. 

Home favorite ARAYA Tomohiro of Japan followed closely behind in both events, placing fourth with 19.426 points. A multi-time silver and bronze medalist in Taijiquan at the World Wushu Championships, Araya remains one of Japan's most emblematic wushu athletes.
