President and Secretary-General of Wushu Federation Asia, Fok Chun Wan and Chan Weng Kit, recently visited Edmund Ho, Vice Chairman of National Committee of the CPPCC, to exchange views on Wushu development in Asia.

Edmund Ho congratulates both being elected as the new President and Secretary-General of the Wushu Federation of Asia, and wishes advancement of the Federation and Wushu Sport in Asia.

Fok Chun Wan thanked the Government of Macao Special Administrative Region for their support in the planning to set up the secretariat and pointed out that Wushu Sports in Asia is getting more attention around the world in rapid development. The Federation will be launched the Asian Junior Wushu Training Course this year in July to implement and promote the development of Wushu.

Edmund Ho believes Wushu Sports has a long history of development in Macau, with the Secretariat located in Macau allows us to recognize and participate in more international sports events; helps to optimize experience in the preparatory work in line with international standards and to improve the quality of the athletes allowing our next generation to get involve.
