Evening of August 19, Mr. Fok Chun Wan visited the office of Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports together with the member of the WFAExecutive Committee.

The Minister welcomed all members of the WFA Executive Committee to Brunei Darussalam and appreciate Wushu Federation of Asia for giving the opportunity to host the championships. Wushu Federation of Brunei Darussalam have had worked their best to run and organize the event. Knowing that many teams have sent teams to Brunei for the first time, such as Iran, and Lebanon. During the visit, the Minister mentioned the importance attached to the development of wushu and predicted that the Wushu Federation of Brunei Darussalam is going to send athletes to China for training for the preparation of the Southeast Asian Games Wushu Competition.

Mr. Fok Chun Wan congratulated Brunei Darussalam for winning two gold medals the first unit of the event. It is a pleasure to see the improvement of wushu in Brunei with great performances in World Championships, Southeast Asia Games and Asian Games. It is known that the Brunei Royal family is very interested in wushu and plays an active role in the development of wushu in Brunei Darussalam.
