Pegasus Watertown Culture and Sports Indoor Stadium is located at the heart of Pegasus Watertown — a National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base — in Xinqiao town. The venue is the largest wushu-themed indoor arena in China, with a total floor area of 120,000 square meters and a ceiling height of 40 meters. The indoor stadium is a multifunctional complex that integrates sports competitions, exhibitions, performances, and tourism. It can accommodate over 10,000 spectators at once. Smart technologies including 5G, AI, and IoT are used throughout the venue to enable rapid venue reconfiguration, environmental monitoring, lighting control, and more. A cloud-based digital platform processes high-performance visual data in real time to ensure seamless live broadcasts of competitions and events. Suspended at the center of the arena is a three-tier, 360-degree octagonal LED display, while four camera positions around the venue provide comprehensive video coverage and competition monitoring. Two large LED end screens are connected to the judges’ scoring system, displaying real-time scores immediately after each performance. The venue features a motorized telescopic seating system that adjusts automatically based on the competition format, creating flexible space for different event setups. Additional facilities include dedicated areas for athletes, referees, event operations, and media, fully supporting the requirements of international sports competitions and national team training camps.
