The 2025 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championships (AJWC) is held at the Pegasus Watertown Culture and Sports Hall in Jiangyin City, China, from July 26 to 29. Hosted by the Wushu Federation of Asian (WFA) and organized by the Chinese Wushu Association (CWA), this edition of the championships has attracted 467 athletes from 24 countries and regions.
The Asian Junior Wushu Championships, hosted by the WFA, is an Asian-level event for professional young wushu athletes across Asia. It is the highest-level Asian wushu event for youth and is held every two years.
On the first competition day, 14 Gold medals were awarded in Taolu events across two sessions. In Sanda, the 1/8 finals and 1/4 finals of various weight categories were held.

In the first session, 8 events were contested in sequence: Boy’s Group A Jianshu, Girl’s Group A Jianshu, Boy’s Group A Nangun, Girl’s Group A Nangun, Boy’s Group B Changquan, Girl’s Group B Changquan, Boy’s Group B Nangun, and Girl’s Group B Nangun. The second session continued with 6 events: Boy’s Group A Gunshu, Girl’s Group A Gunshu, Boy’s Group C Changquan, Girl’s Group C Changquan, Boy’s Group A Taijijian, and Girl’s Group A Taijijian.

Yang Boyu from China won the gold medal with a score of 9.513; HO Ching Hin from Hong Kong, China took the silver with 9.423; and CHUA Xin Yun from Singapore claimed the bronze with 9.390.

WEI Zhengyao from China won the gold with 9.390; CHANG Wun Teng from Macao, China got the silver with 9.366; and LEE Re Ann from Singapore won the bronze with 9.363.

Mikael Nugroho WIBISONO from Indonesia won the gold with 9.400; Joel NG from Singapore took the silver with 9.396; and KO Doyeong from South Korea claimed the bronze with 9.380.

YU Jiashu from China won the gold with 9.463; Thalia Marvelina TANZIL from Indonesia got the silver with 9.376; and TSANG Cho Kiu from Hong Kong, China won the bronze with 9.356.

LIN Yilei from China won the gold with 9.326; LEE Ronn from Malaysia took the silver with 9.270; and SHIBUYA Tenshi from Japan claimed the bronze with 9.240.

CHAN Wai Zing from Singapore won the gold with 9.253; IMAI Yurino from Japan took the silver with 9.243; and LEONG Ioi Tong from Macao, China claimed the bronze with 9.240.

Ramtin SIAH MOSHTEHEI from Iran won the gold with 9.253; HA Gia Huy from Vietnam took the silver with 9.253; and Aaron Hanjaya TIOS from Indonesia claimed the bronze with 9.250.

Overview of Wushu Sanda Competitions
On the first competition day, a total of 9 bouts of the 1/8 finals of 4 weight categories were held, including: Boy’s Junior 42kg, Boy’s Youth 48kg, 52kg, and 56kg. In the afternoon, the 1/4 finals was held with Girl’s Youth 52kg and 56kg, the 1/8 final of Boy’s Youth 60kg and 65kg, and the 1/4 finals of Boy’s Youth 75kg and 80kg. At the end of the first day's competitions, China, as the host of the championships topped the medal table with 8 gold medals; Hong Kong, China ranked second with 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze; and Macao, China came in third with 1 gold, 3 silvers and 1 bronze.
